Bonnievale can boast with the "Littlest Museum" in South Africa.

The Museum was the initiative of Oom Daantjie le Roux. The collection started many years ago on the farms Kapteinsdrift and Angora Stud where Oom Daantjie grew up and farmed. Since his childhood he was an ardent collector of interesting things.

When Oom Daantjie passed away in 2005 he left behind this special collection of antiques and art for the world to treasure and enjoy.

  



At De Ouwde Werf Market you will find our Antique shop.


  



The Gallery consists mainly of paintings and caricatures by various artists.

In The Cafe our visitors now have the priviledge of enjoying a cup of tea or coffee from an antique cup & saucer of their choice, while being taken back into history.

The Museum Cafe & Gallery is housed in the quaint little thatched bulding on Main Street in the heart of Bonnievale.
